Week 3: P52 Sweet Shot Tuesday
Living where I live it's not always easy to get a 'sweet shot'. Winter in Brooklyn is dreary, gray and boring. Of course, if we get snow it's a different story. A coating of white can even make my street beautiful. But, we haven't had any yet this winter. It's been unseasonably warm the past week so the precipitation has been rain or drizzle and some foggy mornings. Per the weatherman/woman, a cold front is coming in. Maybe that will bring some pretty white stuff over the next week. I can only dream.

I like how the birds are perched along the telephone wire - keeping warm, perhaps? Nice work!
ReplyDeleteWhat is up with the weather? Granted in northwest FL we rarely see the fluffy white stuff but we do usually have some sort of winter. Instead it seems we've had more days like the ones you've described but with a bit of humidity tossed in.
ReplyDeleteYour image captures your description well and I'm hopeful that maybe you'll get some snow and share those images as well :-)
Yes, winter does bring on its trouble for photography at times. But I love seeing cityscapes as yours.

The line of birds is brilliant they look like they are all waiting for something... maybe a bus

I also like the line of birds!
ReplyDeleteWe've only had a tiny bit of snow and then the ice, which is all gone today. Hopefully you'll get the white stuff soon!
What makes this a brilliant shot is the ordinary, every day street with the lines of birds (life!) looking down on it. This made me smile!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your nice comments!
ReplyDeletelovely capture..the birds are waiting on warmer and dry weather...love the color conversion as well...speaks winter.
